Windows

• Louvre windows not only look striking they offer the ultimate in controlled ventilation. Choose from glass, cedar or aluminium adjustable blades and customise the height, width, colour, handle types, handle positions and blade sizes of your windows to your individual needs.
• Sliding windows have few moveable parts, making them the ultimate in low maintenance and are ideal where space is an issue such as bathrooms. Sliding windows can be supplied in two, three or four panel options; single and double-glazed. 
• Double Hung windows are ideal for both traditional and contemporary homes making them a popular choice.  Double Hung means the window has an upper and a lower sash that move vertically in separate channels, meaning the window can be opened at the top, bottom or both.
• Awning windows are hinged at the top and swing outward via a chain winder. Awning windows are ideal in situations where furniture or kitchen benches prevent easy access to the window.
• Casement windows have hinges on one side of the sash and swing outward when you turn a lever. Because the entire window swings out, these windows provide full ventilation and unobstructed views.
• Bi-fold windows are becoming an increasingly popular feature in contemporary homes. In a nut-shell bi-fold windows are a cut down version of bi-fold doors providing access between kitchens and decks or dining areas or as a corner window to provide increased ventilation.

Doors

• Bi-fold doors consist of a number of hinged leafs folding to one or both sides of a door opening.They are the ideal way to link internal and external areas, creating a seamless space between.
• French doors consist of divided glass panels known as lights that are usually incorporated in a wooden frame although aluminium may also be used to hold the lights together.
• Duo sliding doors open to approximately two-thirds of their width compared to standard sliding doors which open to less than half their width. The two sliding panels stack behind the third fixed panel. They come as either a three panel unit, with stacking panels, or as a six-panel unit, with two panels moving towards one jamb and two towards the other.

• Stacking & Sliding doors are the ideal option when you are looking for an economical wide opening door. They come as three or six panel doors, with two panels moving towards one jamb and two towards the other.

* The 2009 Design Award for the Best Use of Windows in a Commercial Renovation came on the back of Vision 3’s involvement in the upgrade to the Novotel Manly Pacific.

Vision 3 supplied and installed 94 new sliding stacking doors for all the oceanic rooms on the east facing side of the building. The implementation of the door change awarded the hotel with a new modern image.
